JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2014) – Buccaneer fans, AT&T and ETSU are calling on you to join the “It Can Wait” movement to put an end to texting while driving.

Become a part of the movement by visiting ItCanWait.com and take the pledge to not text and drive.  Before you hit the road, make sure to use #X to let your friends know that you’re about to get behind the wheel and can’t respond.

Because no text is worth a life. All this week, you can text the code ICWBUCS to 464329 to take the pledge. Also, send a Tweet or Facebook post using #X and #ICWBUCS to encourage others to do the same.

On Tuesday, the ETSU Athletics Marketing Department and AT&T will be set up outside the Dome to promote the “It Can Wait” program. Fans can stop by and take the pledge, while ETSU and AT&T will be giving away prizes throughout the day.
