DAVIDSON, N.C. - Both the Davidson women's and men's soccer teams will be participating in the Youth Soccer Month for September Sept. 10 and Sept. 25 at Alumni Stadium.

The women will face off against Charlotte on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. and the men will take on South Carolina on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7 pm.  In addition, youth wearing their soccer jerseys will receive FREE ADMISSION to the men?s game, while the first 200 children wearing their youth soccer jerseys will receive a giveaway courtesy of U.S. Youth Soccer.

Prior to the men?s game on the 25th vs. South Carolina, the men's head coach Matt Spear will be conducting a clinic for local area youth league coaches.

Those participating in the clinic will receive details about Davidson?s pre-game routine, as well as have the opportunity to have their questions answered. In addition, those that register by Sept. 18, will receive a free ticket to the game. Coaches can register by emailing athleticsmarketing@davidson.edu.

Youth league refs will also receive a voucher for a free ticket to the Sept.

25 game as a way to recognize the efforts they put forth for youth soccer in the area.
