Samford's men and women swept the Southern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships for the fourth straight year Tuesday at Shauna Yelton Field at The Samford Track and Soccer Stadium. Highlights of the day included Wofford's Jasmine Jefferson's four gold medals and three meet records falling.

Samford's Campbell was named the men's Most Outstanding Athlete for the second year after scoring 23 points via wins in the 400-meter dash (47.09), 4x100-meter relay (40.77) and 4x400-meter relay (3:11.36) and a second place finish in the 200-meter (20.96).

On the women's side, Samford's Hannah Daffin scored 28 points to take women's Most Outstanding Athlete honors. Daffin won the hammer throw (51.50 meters), shot put (13.74) and placed second in the discus (39.09 meters).
