The Citadel, Furman, Samford and Chattanooga earn top individual awards

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference announced its 2026 Women’s Soccer All-Conference Team and postseason awards Thursday, with the six major individual awards distributed among four schools.

Furman senior Bri Pinasco was voted the Midfielder of the Year, while her coach, Andrew Burr, was named Coach of the Year.

The league coaches voted on a pair of all-conference teams and the six individual awards. They were not allowed to vote for themselves or their own players. The Paladins have not suffered a defeat in their last 10 outings. Burr led Furman to a share of its first regular season conference title in seven years and the No. 2 seed in the upcoming SoCon Tournament.
