With its home meet looming on the horizon, the Western Carolina men's and women's track & field teams completed a big weekend in nearby Asheville on Saturday, cruising to a quartet of event wins and 14 additional top-five finishes to close out the UNC Asheville Invitational.

Senior Jiya Hastings opened up the day with a 14th-place finish in the Long Jump, while the 4x100m Relay squad registered a season-best time of 47.30 seconds, as the Mercer track & field team registered a solid day at the South Florida Invitational on Saturday at the USF Track & Field Stadium.

The Citadel Claims Two Event Victories at Gamecock Invite

Wofford Track and Field Competes At Bulldog Invitational

On Friday and Saturday, the Wofford College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Asheville Bulldog Invitational hosted by UNC Asheville. Wofford had first place finishes by JaKayla Campbell in the 100-meter hurdles (13.85), Ella Tennant in the 200 meters (24.98), and the women's 4x100 relay, along with multiple top ten finishes.
