Southern Conference Basketball and Wrestling Championships Hosted in Asheville March 6–10

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – “SoCon Week” is officially one month away, and will feature the 2025 Ingles SoCon Basketball Championships, March 6-10, and the 2025 Explore Asheville SoCon Wrestling Championships, March 7 and 8.
Asheville is ready to welcome fans for an exciting week of sports, food, and fun! This year, your ticket purchase does more than secure your seat at the action—it also supports our comeback.
Asheville has faced significant challenges due to Hurricane Helene, and this year, your ticket purchase is more than just entry to a championship event—it’s a way to give back. A portion of premium ticket sale proceeds will go to the Always Asheville Fund, supporting the city’s recovery and helping small businesses rebuild.

SoCon Week will also feature additional special events outside of the championships to include:
Business Leadership Forum, presented by Explore Asheville: This engaging session will be structured like a TED Talk, with Bob Delaney sharing his expertise, followed by Q&A time. Attendees will have the chance to ask Bob questions related to leadership, mental health, self-care, and recovery in the workplace. Attendees are asked to donate to the Always Asheville Fund. Present your donation at the event to receive a General Admission ticket to Friday night's session as a thank-you for your support.
Downtown Dribble, presented by Champion Credit Union: The Southern Conference and the Asheville Buncombe Regional Sports Commission are excited to announce the Downtown Dribble & KidsFest to the 2025 Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Championships on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Featuring inflatables, pep bands, cheerleaders, and the parade, this year's event will take place at the have changed Roger McGuire Green at Pack Square Park (80 Court Plaza, Asheville, NC 28801).
