The Citadel at Furman on Feb. 25 selected for Nexstar broadcast

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Citadel at Furman men’s basketball game on Wednesday, Feb. 25, will air on select Nexstar affiliates throughout the Southeast. The contest will tipoff at 6 p.m. ET.

In the first matchup between the two teams on Jan. 21, The Citadel overcame a 19-point deficit to win 77-75 in overtime at home. Sola Adebisi had 22 points and eight rebounds in the first game to pace the Bulldogs, while Charles Johnston’s 15 points and 12 rebounds led the way for the Furman Paladins in the first meeting.

The Citadel is currently 9-16 overall and 6-6 in SoCon play. The Bulldogs have won six of their last nine games after opening conference play with three straight losses. Furman is 16-9 overall with a 7-5 mark in league games. The Paladins dealt with a number of injuries throughout SoCon play but have welcomed back guard Asa Thomas and forward Cooper Bowser over the past two weeks.

The game will also air concurrently on ESPN+. The remainder of the Nexstar schedule is below.

Although not Nexstar stations, EFLI (Chattanooga, TN) and WMUB (Macon, GA) will also have the opportunity to air games from this season’s package.
