Baseball, Softball Schedules Adjusted For Weather

East Tennessee State Softball Postponed

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 12, 2004) - East Tennessee State's softball home opener against Mars Hill, which was originally scheduled for Friday, Feb. 13, has been postponed due to inclement weather. The make-up date for the doubleheader has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18 beginning at 1 p.m. at Metro-Kiwanis Park in Johnson City.

Elon Baseball Changed

ELON, N.C. -- Elon's home-opening baseball series with Delaware State has been changed. Friday's game has been cancelled and rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games have not been effected and will be played at 1:30 p.m. at Latham Park.

Wofford baseball announces changes

The Wofford baseball program has announced a change in the schedule for this weekend's series with Dayton.

The Terriers and Flyers will meet on Sunday and Monday, instead of Saturday and Sunday. The Sunday game is at 2:30 p.m. at Spartanburg Methodist College. Monday's 1:30 p.m. contest will be played at USC Spartanburg.

Following the Dayton series, the Terriers will be off until Feb. 28 when they host Niagara in the inaugural games at Russell C. King Field on the Wofford campus. First pitch is 1 p.m. for the doubleheader that day.
