SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford’s Cedric Otten has been selected as the Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for all competitions from April 10-16. The selection is made by the league office.
 
Otten finished tied for first alongside South Carolina’s Frankie Harris at the Wofford Invitational, which wrapped play Tuesday. The senior posted rounds of 68-71-69 for a tournament score of 208 (-2). The Dusseldorf, Germany, native led the field in par-4 scoring (3.92) and was tied for second in birdies for the event, finishing with 13. Otten’s victory marked the first time anyone has won the tournament twice as he won the event in 2022 as well.
 
Wofford finished fourth at the Wofford Invitational in the 13-team, 81-golfer field, with a tournament score of 864. The Terriers shot 287 in the first round, 291 in the second round and 286 in the final round.
 
The Terriers will be back in action in Greensboro, Georgia, at the SoCon Men’s Golf Championship on April 21-23.
