SPARTANBURG, S.C. – UNCG’s Noah Connor has been selected as the Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for all competitions from March 6-12. The selection is made by the league office.
 
Connor finished tied for eighth at the Sea Island Invitational in St. Simons Island, Georgia, which wrapped play on Tuesday. The graduate student posted rounds of 72-69-69 for a tournament score of 210 (-6). The native of Reidsville, North Carolina, led the field in par-3 scoring (2.67) and was one of three golfers that recorded two eagles during the event.
 
UNCG finished fourth at the Sea Island Invitational in the 14-team, 80-golfer field, with an 11-under-par 853 tournament score. The Spartans shot 283 in the first round, 284 in the second round and 286 in the final round.
 
The Spartans play their next tournament in Greensboro, Georgia, at the Linger Longer Invitational on March 17-19.
