Chattanooga alum Jaeger earns PGA TOUR card

Three-time SoCon Player of the Year finished atop Korn Ferry Tour standings

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Chattanooga men’s golf alumnus Stephan Jaeger finished atop the 2020-21 Korn Ferry Tour regular-season points standings Sunday, clinching his third PGA TOUR card.

Jaeger concluded the 43-event Korn Ferry Tour regular season Sunday with a fourth-place finish at the Pinnacle Bank Championship presented by Aetna in Omaha, Nebraska. Jaeger played in 33 Korn Ferry events this season, accumulating 2,804 points. He won two events, the 2020 Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron and the 2021 Emerald Coast Classic at Sandestin, and posted three runner-up finishes.

Jaeger was a three-time SoCon Player of the Year from 2010-12 after being named the SoCon Freshman of the Year in 2009. He was the individual medalist at the SoCon Championship and the NCAA Bowling Green Regional in 2012, earning first-team All-America honors that year.

The Munich, Germany, native still lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
