Furman ranked No. 27 in latest NCAA Women's Lacrosse RPI

Paladins have won first straight games, currently 8-3 overall

Greenville, S.C. – The Furman women’s lacrosse team currently sits at No. 27 in this week’s NCAA Women’s Lacrosse RPI, which was recently released on NCAASports.com. 

Furman, winners of five straight and eight of its last nine games, is currently 8-3 on the season and 2-0 against SoCon competition following two road wins last weekend at Kennesaw State and Mercer. The Paladins opened the weekend with a 16-14 win at Kennesaw State on April 9 and followed with an 18-12 victory in conference play at Mercer on April 11.

Furman’s five-game winning streak is its longest since capturing five in a row from April 14-May 2, 2019.

The Paladins play their final two home games of the season this weekend, April 16-18, hosting 10th-ranked Jacksonville and Stetson at Paladin Stadium. Furman plays Jacksonville on Friday at 6 p.m. and Stetson on Sunday at 12 p.m.
