2018 Women's Soccer Championship

In 2018, second-seeded UNCG defeated No. 3 ETSU in 5-1 in the semifinals before topping No. 5 seed Furman 2-1 in the final as the Spartans won their ninth SoCon tournament title and second consecutive. Senior defender Heida Ragney Vidarsdottir was named the tournament's most outstanding player after assisting on the first goal scored by Emily Jensen in the title tilt.
