About the Championship

The 2011 Southern Conference Women's Soccer Championship took place on Friday, November 4^th and Sunday, November 6^th in Greensboro, N.C.  The 18^th annual Southern Conference Women's Soccer Championship was held at the UNCG Soccer Stadium.  The Quarterfinals (First Round) were hosted by the top four seeds on Sunday, October 30^th.  Those games determined who advanced to the Semifinals/Final in Greensboro, N.C.

Adrianne Mancino's blast from 25 yards out with less than three minutes remaining in regulation proved to be the winning tally as No. 1 seed Samford defeated No. 3 College of Charleston, 1-0, in the championship match of the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship.
