SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Chattanooga senior Wes Gosselin has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for all competition from Feb. 6-28. The selection is made by the league office.

Gosselin tied for medalist honors at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate on Feb. 20-21, shooting a 6-under 210 to sit atop the 75-man field. The Knoxville, Tennessee, native opened with a 6-under 66 in the first round before shooting 75 in round two. He rebounded with a 3-under 69 in round three for his second career win.

Gosselin helped the Mocs tie for third in the 15-team field.

Also nominated: Mateusz Gradecki (ETSU), Bryce Howell (Furman), Justin Connelly (Mercer), Harlan Winn (Samford), Mark Davidson Johnson (Western Carolina) and Andrew Novak (Wofford).
