SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford junior Jeremy Grab has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for all competition from Feb. 24 to March 1. The selection is made by the league office.
Grab shot three straight rounds under par to share medalist honors at The Legacy Intercollegiate at The Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes in Longwood, Fla., posting a 7-under 209 to tie teammate Andrew Novak for the win in the 73-man field. Grab turned in consecutive rounds of 3-under 69 on Monday before closing with a 1-under 71 Tuesday.
The Charleston, S.C., native carded 15 birdies and an eagle throughout the tournament to notch his second tournament win of the 2015-16 academic year.
Grab and Novak, last week’s Golfer of the Week, led the Terriers to a 28-stroke team win.
