Wofford tied for fourth at Cobra PUMA Invitational

MIROMAR LAKES, Fla. – The Wofford men’s golf team is tied for fourth after 36 holes of the Cobra PUMA Invitational at the par-72, 7,372 yard Miromar Lakes Golf Club.

The Terriers opened play with a 288 and followed with a 290 in the second round to earn a 578 on the day. Florida Gulf Coast leads with a 558, while Penn State is in second with a 570. Bethune-Cookman is third with a 572, while Florida Atlantic is tied with Wofford in fourth.

Cory Taylor was the low Terrier and is tied for 12th after rounds of 70 and 72 for a 142. Chandler Brazeal shot rounds of 73 and 71 for a 144 and is tied for 19th, while Brent McKenzie is tied for 22nd with a 72-73=145. Charles Moore finished the day with a 73-74=147, while Brannan Hudson signed his scorecard with two rounds of 78 for a 156.

Play resumes Monday at 8:30 a.m. with the final 18 holes.
