Jaeger Earns Second Consecutive SoCon Golf Honor

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Chattanooga junior Stephan Jaeger has been selected as the Southern Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for all competition from March 23-29.

The award is Jaeger's second in as many weeks, as the Munich, Germany, native has closed March with back-to-back strong efforts.

Jaeger tied for fourth against a deep field at the Linger Longer Invitational in Greensboro, Ga. He carded 69-69-73 for a five-under par total of 211. The top-five finish was the second of the season for Jaeger while the 211 aggregate equaled his best of the 2010-11 season.

As a team, Chattanooga placed second, defeating top 15 ranked teams from Georgia and Stanford.

Another top performer this week was Samford's Drew Aimone.
