Cougars Tied for 10th at Hootie at Bulls Bay

Awendaw, S.C. - Tim Tang shot a one-under par 70, while Harrison Moore shots a one-over par 72 to lead the College of Charleston men's golf team to a tie for 10th after the first round of the Hootie at Bulls Bay golf tournament being held Mar. 23-25 at the Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.  South Carolina leads the tournament with a 280.  Charleston's 291 is just five strokes out of the top five.

 

Tang is tied for seventh with his 70 while Moore's 72 puts him tied for 22nd.  Other Cougars competing are Dennis McCollum, who is tied for 43rd with a 74, and Soonam Kim who is tied for 53rd with a 75.  Rounding out the Cougar effort is Scott Larkin who is 70th with a 78.

 

The tournament continues Monday with the Cougars teeing off beginning at 10:40 a.m. in the second round.
