Jenny Nett (1997-2002) of Wofford was named the Southern Conference women’s basketball Player of the Year in 2001-02, highlighting a collegiate career in which she was a four-time all-conference performer and the Terriers’ all-time leading scorer.

A 2007 inductee into the Wofford Athletics Hall of Fame, Nett tallied 1,896 points in four seasons, including a stellar senior year in which she averaged a league-best 21.1 points per game – the 10th-best total in SoCon history and the highest average in the past 13 seasons. She helped the Terriers improve from just one league win in her freshman year to a narrow overtime defeat in the semifinals of the SoCon Tournament to the eventual champions as a senior.

Nett was selected to the All-SoCon team in each of her four seasons with the Terriers, and she was a four-time league player of the week honoree. The Louisville, Ky., native was a first-team Academic All-America selection, and she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a double major in English and business economics.
