The 2007-08 academic year marks the 25th anniversary of women’s championships in the Southern Conference, and to celebrate the occasion, the Southern Conference is spotlighting individuals who have been named to the league’s 25th Anniversary teams.

Holly Andrews, Elon
Holly Andrews (2000-04) of Elon spent just one season of competition in the Southern Conference, but she made her mark by leading the league in scoring in 2003-04 while helping the Elon women’s basketball team to a fifth-place finish in its first season of Southern Conference play.
Before having her season cut short by injury in 2003-04, Andrews averaged a SoCon-best 18.9 points per game while also ranking second in the league in assists per contest at 3.6. Andrews ranked 25th nationally in scoring in 2003-04 before suffering her injury.
A two-time Southern Conference player of the month, Andrews twice earned Elon’s Stein H. Basnight Outstanding Athlete award, given to the school’s athlete of the year. She finished her Elon career in third place on the Phoenix’s all-time scoring chart and amassed three all-conference and one league player of the year honor.

Morgan Olds (2001-05), Golf ? First-team all-SoCon; helped Elon to a second place finish in 2005 SoCon tournament
Dani Concepcion (2002-05), Softball ? Two-time all-SoCon; Elon’s all-time hits and doubles leader
