CofC Men's Golf Concludes Fall Season in Hawaii

College of Charleston Men's Golf Finishes 19th at Turtle Bay

 

Kahuku, Hawaii - Tim Tang shot a 72 in the first and third rounds to lead the College of Charleston men's golf team to a 19th-place finish with an 891 at the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate Invitational held Nov. 10-12 at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, Hawaii.  Texas won the tournament with a three-round total of 843.

 

Tang tied for 42nd with a 218, while Cabe Prieskorn tied for 60th with a 222.  Coy Breen tied for 66th with a 223, while Harrison Moore tied for 89th with a 228.  Ben Pounds rounded out the Cougar effort with a 242, for 101st.

 

Charleston begins its spring season Feb. 9-10 at the Pat Hicks Invitational in St. George, Utah.

 

 

 

College of Charleston Men's Golf 17th at Turtle Bay

 

Kahuku, Hawaii - Tim Tang shot a 72 in the first round and a 74 in the second to lead the College of Charleston men's golf team to 17th with a 598 after the second round of the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate Invitational being held Nov. 10-12 at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, Hawaii.  San Diego State leads the tournament after 36 holes with a 568.

 

Tang is tied for 37th with his 146, while Coy Breen is tied for 65th with a 150.  Harrison Moore and Cabe Prieskorn are tied for 73rd with a 151 each.  Ben Pounds rounds out the Cougar effort with a 161, which is good enough for 101st place.

 

The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Wednesday.

 

 

 

College of Charleston Men's Golf 18th at Turtle Bay

 

Kahuku, Hawaii - Tim Tang shot a 72, while Harrison Moore added a 73 to lead the College of Charleston men's golf team to 18th with a 298 after the first round of the Turtle Bay Resort Collegiate Invitational held Nov. 10-12 at the Turtle Bay Resort in Kahuku, Hawaii.  San Diego State shot a 277 to lead the tournament after 18 holes.

 

Tang is tied for 37th with his 72, while Moore is tied for 45th with his 73.  Coy Breen is tied for 80th with a 76 and tied for 87th is Cabe Prieskorn with a 77.  Ben Pounds rounds out the Cougar effort with an 83, good enough for 105th.

 

The Cougars continue with second round action Tuesday morning.  The tournament concludes with 18 holes on Wednesday.
