CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Mocs finished fourth in the team competition of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate Golf Tournament that was hosted by Austin Peay State University on Monday and Tuesday. The Mocs would card a final round 295 to go with the 288 and 277 they posted in the first two rounds. Their final score of 860 would be eighteen strokes behind host APSU, who finished first. Samford would finish second with an 855 while New Orleans would end up third with a score of 856.
In the individual competition, sophomore Bryce Ledford would finish tied for sixth with a combined score of 212. He would card scores of 71, 70, and 71 respectively in the three rounds. Thomas Smith would finish with a score of 214, which was good enough for a twelfth place tie. Anthony Reale would finish in 46th with a 221, while Stephen Fritsch and Tyson Elliott would tie for 54th with individual scores of 223. Gordon Strother, who only competed as an individual, finished in 34th with a combined score of 219. The top individual score would go to Robert Dinwiddle, of Tennessee State, and Kenji Murayama, of New Orleans, who would each finish the tournament with a score of 205.
This was the final fall competition for the Golf Mocs. Their next action will take place on February 14th and 15th when they compete in the Florida Southern Invitational.

Furman
The Furman men's golf team fired rounds of 308-306-314 to finish 15th at the Isleworth Invitational with a 928, three-round total.
Furman was forced to count two scores in the 80s on Tuesday, when junior T.J. Blandford fired an 87, Robert Jamieson carded an 81, and Chris Gilliland recorded an 80. Senior Rob Langley was the top Paladin on the day with a three-over 75 at the 7,246 yard, par 72 Isleworth Country Club, while Ben Goforth added a 78 to the Tuesday effort and finished 56th in the individual standings with a 235 total.
The Isleworth Collegiate is the final match of the fall season for the 2004-05 Paladins.
