The Terriers stand in11th place overall with a first-round score of 304. The tournament's second round, scheduled to be held Saturdayafternoon, was postponed due to rain, and will be held Sunday. No thirdround will be played. Davidson sits in 14th place after 18 holes of play, 19 strokes behind the leader Virginia Tech who shot a 290 in the first round. Due to the inclement weather, the tournament will be shortened to 36 holes to be completed on Sunday.Old Dominion and North Carolina each carded rounds of 292 to tie for second place. Old Dominion's Geoffrey Harris shot a tournament-low round of 67. Jonathan Hill of East Carolina and Ramon Bescansa of UNC each finished with first-round totals of 69, good for second-place heading into the final round of competition. Freshman Tim Dillon and senior Ben Friedell led the way for the Wildcats, carding rounds of 76 in the first 18 holes. Rookie Christian Davis shot a 78 and sophomore Peyton Gallagher finished one stroke behind him with a 79. Sophomore Dan Walker ended the day with a round of 85.
