The Citadel's Ali Ruffin Honored as an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention

LEXINGTON, KY – The Citadel's Ali Ruffin was named an AVCA All-American Honorable Mention as announced by the AVCA on Wednesday.
This honor marks the first time the AVCA has recognized a Citadel volleyball player as an All-American Honorable Mention.
Ruffin was named an AVCA East Coast All-Region Honorable Mention on December 5.
Ruffin had an outstanding individual season, with 529 kills, averaging 4.52 per set. She also recorded 405 digs and achieved 22 double-doubles.
The native from Greenville, N.C., received five Southern Conference Offensive Player of the Week awards, was named Offensive Player of the Month twice, and earned Offensive Player of the Year honors.
