Fifty earn CSC Academic All-District XC/Track and Field honors
Twenty-eight SoCon women, 22 men honored

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Fifty Southern Conference cross country / track and field student-athletes earned Academic All-District Team honors from the College Sports Communicators, with 22 earning spots on the men’s team and 28 selected to the women’s team, as announced by CSC on Wednesday.
The 2023 teams recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America women’s honorees will be announced June 28, followed by the men’s selections on June 29.
VMI’s men’s team and Chattanooga and Wofford’s women’s teams paced the SoCon with five selections each.
Between its men’s and women’s teams, the Keydets had a SoCon-best nine selections, followed by Chattanooga with eight and Western Carolina and Wofford with seven each.
