Furman’s Ryu named SoCon women’s golfer of the week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman's Audrey Ryu has been selected as the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the week of Sept. 18-24. The selection is made by the league office and is the fourth one of the season. 

Ryu finished sixth of 77 players at Furman’s Lady Paladin Invitational held on Sept. 20-22. During the tournament, Ryu shot four-under-par 212, posting rounds of 72-71-69. 

The Paladins finished third of the 13 teams hosted at the 50^th Lady Paladin Invitational, logginga team score of 871.  

Furman will return to the green on Oct. 4, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as they compete in the Evie Odom Invitational hosted by Old Dominion.
