2026 All-SoCon Women’s Golf Team Announced

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Furman’s Audrey Ryu has been named the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Year in voting conducted by the league’s nine head coaches. The Paladins’ Olivia Hasselbach is the 2025-26 SoCon Freshman of the Year and is joined by head coach Jeff Hull as the league’s Coach of the Year.

The league also named a 10-member all-conference team and a five-member all-freshman team, with the all-conference team determined by a combination of Clippd rankings and coaches’ votes. The all-freshman team was voted on solely by the coaches.

Ryu turned in three top 10 finishes during the regular season of her sophomore campaign. The Dublin, Ohio, native ranks in the top 200 players nationally and recorded a 72.3 scoring average over 31 rounds played. The Paladin sophomore became the fifth Furman golfer to claim medalist honors at the conference championship, defending her title with a 2-under-par performance last week at the SoCon Women’s Golf Championship.

She is Furman's 15th SoCon Golfer of the Year honoree. The Paladins have had a golfer selected for the honor on 22 occasions.

Hasselbach became Furman’s first golfer to win the first-year honor since Anna Morgan in 2021. The Tampa, Florida, native recorded a 73.1 scoring average and two top three finishes during her debut season.

The Paladin newcomer earned one SoCon Golfer of the Week recognition this year after her 3-under-par, third place finish at the Valspar Augusta Invitational in March.

Hull was named SoCon Coach of the Year for the fifth time in his career. Hull will now lead the Paladins to the national stage for a second consecutive year, as Furman clinched an automatic berth to the NCAA regionals by virtue of its SoCon Championship win.

The NCAA field will be announced live on Golf Channel on Wednesday, April 29, at 4 p.m. ET.
