SoCon Women's Golfer of the Week announced
Wofford's Kent leads the Terriers at Elon Invitational
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford College junior Bella Kent has been named the Southern Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week for the period of September 11–16, as announced by the league office.
Kent finished 12th at the Elon Invitational, which hosted 14 teams. She posted rounds of 71, 73, and 73, finishing with a four-over-par 217.
A native of Berkshire, England, Kent bettered her performance from her previous showing at the Elon event, climbing 16 spots in the final standings.
The Terriers placed 6th in the field and look to continue the fall season at the Tot Hill Farm Invitational hosted by the College of Charleston on September 29-30.
