Tuesday's Women's Basketball Roundup

Wofford 75, UNC Asheville 56

After a tight first quarter of play Tuesday morning, the Wofford women's basketball picked up steam and pulled away as the morning rolled over to afternoon for a 75-56 triumph over UNC Asheville. It was Education Day inside the Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium with a raucous crowd of over 1,300 local students enjoying a Terrier victory, pushing Wofford to 5-2 on the year. Asheville drops to 0-6.

Tennessee Tech 79, Samford 65

The Samford women's basketball team dropped a 79-65 decision to Tennessee Tech Tuesday afternoon in the Pete Hanna Center. With the loss Samford fell to 2-6 on the young season. Tennessee Tech improved its record to 5-2 with the win. Samford was led in the loss by Emily Bowman with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Kennedy Langham had a team-high 18 points, while Sadie Stetson followed with 11 points.

Campbell 82, Furman 72

Olivia Tucker scored 17 points and Campbell used hot shooting to race past Furman, 82-72, in a Tuesday women's basketball game at Georgia State's Thanksgiving Tournament played at the GSU Convocation Center. Furman (4-3) will take on host Georgia State (4-2) in a Wednesday ESPN+ noon matchup.
