Chattanooga’s Kaili Phillips Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week

Graduate student hit three home runs last week, holds a 3.50 GPA

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Chattanooga softball infielder, Kaili Phillips, has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from April 24-30.  The selection is made by the conference office.
 
Phillips went 3-for-7 last week and recorded a sacrifice hit to produce a .429 batting average. The Harrison, Tennessee, product contributed three home runs and five RBIs, slugging 1.714 as the Mocs went 4-0, including a sweep of conference foe Furman. In the field, she registered four putouts and logged 14 assists.
 
The graduate student is studying for her Master’s Public Health and boasts a 3.50 GPA.
