Eynde Frazier will serve as the championships assistant for 2019-20.
The 2019 Western Carolina Honors College graduate was a midfielder for the Catamounts’ women’s soccer team, starting 40 of her 60 career contests, including all 18 her senior year, when she was a team captain. The Wilson, North Carolina, native scored five career goals, with four of them serving as game-winners, and helped Western Carolina reach the title game of the SoCon Women’s Soccer Championship as a junior in 2017.
Also in 2017, Frazier was featured in NCAA’s Champion Magazine for her work with the Special Olympics, for which she has volunteered at the local, state and international levels since 2014.
Frazier worked for five years with the Wilson Parks & Recreation Department in a variety of roles, including as an intern and as a summer camp counselor, and served as a recreation intern for Highlands Country Club in Cashiers, North Carolina. Most recently, she worked as an academic support counselor in Western Carolina’s athletics department. Frazier was a two-term president of WCU’s chapter of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
