About the Championship   

The 2014 Southern Conference Women's Golf Championship took place on Sunday, April 13, through Tuesday, April 15, on the North Course at the Moss Creek Golf Club in Hilton Head Island, S.C., for the sixth straight year.

Chattanooga won the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Regional with its fifth consecutive conference tournament win. The Mocs' Emily McLennan was the individual medalist, turning a three-day total of 6-over 222 to earn the four-stroke win over Furman’s Taylor Totland (76-74-76=226), who was named the SoCon Freshman of the Year at the conclusion of the event.

Chattanooga's Jordan Britt, who was named Player of the Year, came in third with a score of 229.
