ETSU’s Pedro Cressoni named SoCon player of the week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU’s Pedro Cressoni has been named the Southern Conference Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for all competition from March 11-17. The selection is made by the league office.

In a 6-1 victory over Wofford on March 13, Cressoni teamed up with James Sim at the No. 3 doubles position, defeating Jack Burdell and Max Graham, 6-1. At the No. 3 singles spot, the Sao Paulo, Brazil, product defeated Daniel Clivio in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1. Cressoni leads ETSU with eight singles victories this season.

ETSU (7-4, 2-0 SoCon) will travel to FGCU on March 18, then FAU on March 19.
