Defending American Athletic Conference member Charlotte netted a goal in each half to blank Furman, 2-0, in non-conference men's soccer action Monday evening at Transamerica Field in Charlotte, N.C. With the win, Charlotte improved to 2-0-1 on the season and claimed its ninth consecutive home victory, which ranks as the fourth longest streak in the nation. Furman suffered its first defeat of the season to fall to 2-1-1.The ETSU men's soccer team fell to No. 17 North Carolina 6-0 on Monday night at Dorrance Field. The Tar Heels netted two goals in the first half and posted four in the final 45, which included a penalty kick to extend the lead in the 82nd minute. Luke Hille – who scored the first goal of the night in the seventh minute – and Martin Vician recorded braces for North Carolina. Vician scored the last two goals on the night.
