Mercer play's No. 3 North Carolina to a draw

Mercer goalkeeper Trevor McMullen posted his nation-leading sixth clean sheet of the season to lead the Bears to a 0-0 draw against third-ranked North Carolina on Tuesday night. McMullen made four saves on the night en route to the shutout. The Mercer back line was stout, holding a potent Tar Heels scoreless for just the second time this season. 

ETSU 1, UNC Asheville 1

 A second-half goal by Gabriel Ramos helped the ETSU men's soccer team force a 1-1 draw at UNC Asheville on Tuesday night at Greenwood Soccer Field. The Bucs, playing for the first time in nine days, overcame an early Bulldog goal off a penalty kick as Ramos cashed in on his second goal of the season in the 69th minute. The goal not only evened the match, but it also snapped ETSU's scoreless drought that extended six consecutive halves.

UNCG vs High Point - Suspended due to weather in the 33rd minute

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team suspended play against High Point (HPU) due to inclement weather on Tuesday night at the UNCG Soccer Stadium with 32:30 elapsed in the match. The Spartans trail 1-0 in the match. The Panthers also own a 5-2 advantage in shots. Both sides have three corner kicks so far. Additionally, both goalkeepers, UNCG's Seth Wilson and HPU's Luke Snyder, each have one save so far. Play will potentially resume at a later date that is to be determined.

Wofford vs USC Upstate - Suspended due to weather

The Wofford men's soccer match against USC Upstate was suspended due to inclement weather in the 58th minute of play on Tuesday night. The Terriers led the Spartans 1-0 at Snyder Field. Magnus Kjoller scored off an assist from Declan Mettee in the 50th minute. The game was then suspened due to lightning in the area. There is no official resumption date. 

Furman vs Gardner Webb - Cancelled due to weather

Persistent inclement weather forced the cancelation of Furman's Gray Griffin Memorial Match versus Gardner-Webb Tuesday evening on Seagraves Field at Stone Soccer Stadium. Lightning moved into the area just minutes before the start of the contest and the game was official called off just before 8 p.m. after heavy rains soaked the playing surface. Furman (3-2-2) is scheduled to return to action on Tuesday, October 1, when it travels to face USC Upstate in Spartanburg, S.C.
