Tuesday's Men's Soccer Roundup
Furman held Wofford to just one shot on target and Wilfer Bustamante and Christian Kraus netted goals as the Paladins blanked the Terriers, 2-0, in Southern Conference men's soccer play Tuesday evening on Seagraves Field at Stone Stadium.
The Wofford men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Furman Paladins on Tuesday night. The first half was a defensive, physical affair early, having seven combined fouls in the first 15 minutes of play. The Paladin offense struggled to gain much traction against the staunch Wofford backline and solid goaltending by Leo Ledin making two saves in the half on five shots faced. The match would go into the break tied 0-0.
