Furman defeats No. 23 Charleston, UNCG ties with No. 5 West Virginia

Freshman Wilfer Bustamante netted two of Furman's season-high four goals and senior Christian Kraus added a goal and two assists as the Paladins knocked 23rd-ranked College of Charleston from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 4-2 victory Tuesday night on Ralph Lundy Field at Patriots Point Athletics Complex in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

UNCG 2, West Virginia 2

The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's soccer team came back to even the score twice on the way to a 2-2 draw at No. 5 West Virginia on Tuesday night at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium. Sophomore forward Arnaud Tattevin and fifth year forward Mikey Ketteman scored the first and second equalizers, respectively. On the other end of the pitch, redshirt sophomore Seth Wilson made a pair of saves in the contest.

Davidson 2, Mercer 1

A late penalty kick goal by Davidson's Denis Krioutchenkov proved to be the difference in Tuesday's match, as Mercer fell to the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Carlos Santamaria did the scoring for the Bears, tallying his second goal of the season in the 59th minute.

Georgia State 2, Wofford 0

The Wofford College men's soccer team fell to Georgia State 2-0 on a rain-soaked Tuesday night at Synder Field. Even with 12 shots taken and eight corner kicks, the Terriers were unable to score before Georgia State's late surge.
