UNC Greensboro Falls At NC State In NCAA Soccer Third Round

RALEIGH, NC – The UNC Greensboro men's soccer team's magical postseason run came to an end after a 2-0 loss to No. 15 NC State on Sunday at Dail Soccer Field in Raleigh, North Carolina.

NC State scored in the sixth minute to take an early lead, but UNCG recovered and put two shots on goal later in the half that were saved by the Wolfpack keeper. The Spartans kept pressure on in the second half with two more shots on goal, but NC State extended its advantage with a goal in the 79th minute and held on for the victory.
