ETSU’s Dodd-Berry Named SoCon Student-Athlete of the Week

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – ETSU men’s golfer, Matthew Dodd-Berry, has been named the Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for all competition from April 16-23.  The selection is made by the conference office.
 
Dodd-Berry competed at the Southern Conference Men’s Golf Championship where he collected his first collegiate win, earning co-medalist honors with teammate Mats Ege. The Wirral, England, native logged the lowest tournament score of his career, recording a  13-under-par 203 which included a career-low 7-under 65 in the opening round of play. Dodd-Berry led the field in par-4 scoring at 8-under while tallying 17 birdies for the tournament.
 
The sophomore, who led the Bucs to their fourth straight SoCon team title and 20^th individual championship, holds a 3.58 GPA while majoring in sport management.
