ETSU Bucs Ninth, Play Suspended on Day One in Reno

Adverse weather conditions forced the delay and eventual suspension of play for ETSU men's golf at the NCAA Reno Regional at Montreux Golf & Country Club. The initial tee times were abandoned due to high winds in favor of a 4:00 pm local time shotgun start, and play was suspended for the night two hours later. 

At the time of suspension, the Bucs were tied for ninth at 5-over par through seven holes. Gavin Tiernan led ETSU at 1-over par, four shots off the lead in 12th. Yannick Malik and Ben Carberry were both 2-over at the suspension of play, and Joshua Pritchett and Kristian Bressum were both 4-over. 

Furman's Diehl Tied For 16th After First Round Of NCAA Tallahassee Regional

Furman's Trey Diehl (-1) fired a 71 to tie for 16th in Monday's first round of the NCAA Salem Regional at the par-72, 7,520 yard Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Fla.

A senior from Orlando, Fla., Diehl teed off on No. 10 and notched three birdies on the back to turn at even par.  He birdied three out of his first four holes on the front then added a team-high seventh birdie on No. 9 to finish the day at 1-under par.  He sits five strokes back of individual leader Luke Clanton (-6) of Florida State, who ranks fifth nationally and carded a 66 in Monday's first round.

UNCG's Dutton Wraps Up Round Two of NCAA Regionals

Colin Dutton of the UNC Greensboro (UNCG) men's golf team sits in a tie for 59th place after the conclusion of round two of the NCAA Amherst Regional on Monday in Amherst, Virginia, at Poplar Grove Golf Course.

Chattanooga's Camden Braidech got his NCAA postseason ledger opened Monday with the opening round of the Auburn Regionals

Braidech is currently 46th overall, six shots back of the current individual qualifying spot. That's tied for 23rd on that list. The top five teams and the best individual finisher not on one of those squads move on to the NCAA Championships. It's 54 holes with 18 holes per day leading to the advancement reveal at the completion of the final round Wednesday afternoon.
