SoCon Names Men's Golfer of the Week for March 11

SPARTANBURG, SC – ETSU freshman Oli Blackadder was named Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for events played between March 4 through March 10.

Blackadder (Aberdeen, Scotland) finished tied for eighth overall at the 41^st Annual Louisiana Classic at Oakbourne Country Club in Lafayette, LA. He fired consecutive rounds of 68 to begin the tournament and finished six under par over 54 holes. Blackadder recorded an eagle in each of the first two rounds and sank eight birdie putts for the tournament. His efforts helped lead ETSU to a fourth-place finish as a team, just three strokes behind second-place Arkansas Little Rock. Blackadder led the event with his two eagles and ranked second in total pars recorded (38).

ETSU will head to the west coast on March 16 for the Pauma Valley Invitational in Pauma Valley, CA.
