SoCon Announces Men's Golfer of the Week

SPARTANBURG, SC – Chattanooga junior Camden Braidech was named Southern Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week for events played between February 25-March 3.

Braidech (Scottsdale, AZ / Home School) tied for third at the 2026 Colleton River Collegiate hosted by Michigan State in Bluffton, SC. He led the Mocs to a sixth-place finish in the team standings, shooting 72-67-71 (210) for a 6-under par score after 54 holes. All 15 teams in the tournament were ranked inside the national top 100. After a first round with two birdies, Braidech heated up over the next 18 holes, sinking five birdie putts to finish at 67, with no bogeys. He followed with a 71 in the final round to move into third position – just four strokes out of first place.

Chattanooga will take a short break before returning to the Hootie at Bulls Bay in Awendaw, SC, on March 22-24.
