Wofford 3, VMI 0

The No.3 Wofford Men's soccer team won its Southern Conference Tournament quarterfinal match Friday afternoon against No.6 VMI in Johnson City, Tennessee.  The 3-0 victory was fueled by goals from Stewart Patnaud and Nathan Simes in the second half. Wofford advances to the semifinals of the Southern Conference Tournament to face ETSU.

VMI Men's Soccer bowed out of the Southern Conference Championship in the quarterfinal round to Wofford at Summers-Taylor Stadium Friday afternoon. The Keydets ended the 2024 campaign with a tough 3-0 defeat to the Terriers in the opening game of the postseason tournament. VMI played well in the opening half, allowing just five shots and no goals to Wofford, but a second-half surge by the Terriers haunted the Keydets.
