About the Championship

The 2013 Southern Conference Men's Women's Tennis Championships took place on Thursday, April 18th through Sunday, April 21st. The championships were held in Elon, N.C. and hosted by Elon University.

The College of Charleston Cougars topped Elon 4-3 to win the Southern Conference Women's Tennis Tournament. It was the Cougars' fifth consecutive tournament title. They were led by the tournament's Most Oustanding Player, Christin Newman.

The Samford men's tennis team won the Southern Conference Tennis Tournament with a 4-3 victory over Elon. The Bulldogs' Zac Dunkle was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
