About the Championship

The 2012 Southern Conference Cross Country Championships were held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Laurel Hill Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. The Citadel hosted the event. This was the 83rd annual Cross Country Championship for the men and the 28th for the women.

Appalachian State took home both this year's men's and women's titles. UNCG's Paul Chelimo took home his second-consecutive men's title and Samford's Lauren D'Alessio took home the women's title.
