SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Mercer guard KeKe Calloway has been named the Southern Conference women’s basketball player of the week for games played Nov. 13-19, the conference announced Tuesday.

In a 92-82 win over SEC foe Florida, Calloway led Mercer with 30 points and 10 assists, collecting her first double-double of the season. The senior was 9-of-21 from the floor, 6-of-10 from beyond the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. She also had four rebounds, all defensive, and two steals in the home win.

Calloway scored eight points and had seven rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal in a loss to UCF.  

Through four games, Calloway leads Mercer with 22.5 points per game, second among conference players. Her 5.5 assists per game leads the conference and she’s also in the top five in steals, free-throw percentage, 3-point field-goal percentage, 3s per game, assist-to-turnover ratio and minutes played.
