Tournament Most Outstanding Player Teddy Hatfield scored the game-winning goal with 1:32 left in overtime to lift the top-seeded Richmond Spiders to an 11-10 win over No. 3 seed Jacksonville in the 2018 title match of the Southern Conference Men’s Lacrosse Championship at Robins Stadium in Richmond, Virginia. The SoCon tournament title was Richmond's first after also appearing in the first three title matches in league history.
