SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Wofford forward
Daniella Motley has been named the Southern Conference Women’s Basketball
Player of the Week for all games through November 26. Motley is Wofford's first POTW in five years. Kelsi Koenig was the last Terrior to earn the award on November 27, 2007.
Motley,
a senior forward/center, started the week with the first double-double of the
season for the Terriers with 18 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Kennesaw
State. She was 9-of-16 from the floor, setting a new career-high for field goal
attempts and also added four steals for the Terriers.
Motley
followed that performance up with a nine-point, 12-rebound performance in a win
over North Carolina Central. She also tallied four blocks and four steals in
the game. The Christiansburg, Va., native is averaging just shy of a
double-double, with 9.8 points per game and 10.4 rebounds per game on the
season as the Terriers have been on a four-game winning streak.

Charleston’s Cathryn Hardy, Davidson’s Laura Murray, Elon’s Kelsey Evans,
Furman’s Erica Norwood, Georgia Southern’s MiMi DuBose, Samford’s Shelby
Campbell, Chattanooga’s Kayla Christopher, and Western Carolina’s Ali Lane.
