In July 2005, the Southern Conference launched SoCon.TV, a live video streaming network designed to bring SoCon sports to people around the world through the internet. The network includes not only Southern Conference Championship events but also regular season events from around the league.

The Conference will video stream at least eight championship events during the 2009-10 season, including the 2010 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Championships from Charlotte, NC.

Member institutions will also be live video streaming regular season events throughout the year.
